Funding Opportunities
Our grants are made possible by the foresight, generosity and compassion of individuals, families and organizations who understand the power of endowed funding. Our donors’ legacies live on through Community Foundation grants that enhance the quality of life in our community for generations to come.

Most applications can be filled out online and then electronically submitted. Once the application is completely filled out, a copy can be saved to your computer and then emailed to BettyG@fcfpartnership.org. Please note, applications cannot be edited once saved.
GRANTMAKING OPPORTUNITIES CURRENTLY AVAILABLE:
Competitive Community Grants
Competitive Community Grants at the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania are competitive unrestricted grants to support requests of $5,001 and over from registered nonprofit organizations serving residents in Williamsport & Lycoming County. These unrestricted dollars are to assist a broad range of charitable projects, serving organizations with missions relating to arts & culture, education, health & human services, youth, environment & economic development and supports requests for capital improvements, equipment & technology and program enhancements.
A letter of intent must be submitted in order to be considered for a full grant application. Organizations with approved letters of intent will be notified to submit a full application. Letters of Intent must be received by June 8.
Emergency Grants
The Emergency Grant program is designed to provide the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania the flexibility to respond to major events impacting nonprofit organizations serving residents of Lycoming County.
Emergencies could be defined as problems created by weather disasters, crime related issues such as vandalism or burglary, unforeseen financial hardships as the result of a tremendous increase in community need, or a variety of other unpredictable situations.
Emergency grant requests will be accepted on a rolling deadline throughout the year until funds are expended.
Great Grant
The Great Grant program was created to support a major capital project creation or enhancement of programming. These dollars are intended to fund innovative solutions to data-driven “proven” issues and needs, without duplication of efforts. Nonprofit organizations serving residents of Lycoming County are eligible. Requests between $100,000 and $200,000 will be accepted. Postmark deadline is February 24. Please note, the Letters of Intent cannot be submitted electronically.
Mini Grants
The Mini Grant program offers grant awards up to $5,000 through a competitive grant process from registered nonprofit organizations in Union County and Williamsport & Lycoming County. This Fund assists a broad range of charitable projects, serving organizations with missions relating to arts & culture, education, health & human services, youth, environment & economic development and supports requests for capital improvements, equipment & technology and program enhancements.
Application deadlines are as follows:
Union County - February 1
Williamsport & Lycoming County - February 1; May 1; August 1; November 1
The Tree House Grants
The Tree House Fund is a regional field of interest fund at the FCFP, created to support organizations focused on programming and projects that benefit children and youth in the north central region of Pennsylvania. Income from this fund goes only to promising programs and projects that will impact children in one or more of the following PA counties: Bradford, Clinton, Lycoming, Sullivan, Susquehanna and/or Tioga. The grantmaking process at the Foundation ensures that successful applicants are deserving and qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit entities that have identified contemporary community needs and have developed innovative solutions. Application deadline is March 1
Margaret E. Waldron Memorial Fund Grants
The Margaret E. Waldron Memorial Fund was created in 1976 to support the charitable, educational, religious or health care purposes in and around the Borough of Muncy. The Fund provides grants annually through a competitive grant process to nonprofit organizations serving the residents of the Muncy Area. Annual operating support is awarded to nonprofits whose programs held a special interest to Ms. Waldron during her lifetime. Application deadline is March 1
