President's Message

Love of community, compassion for one’s neighbors and a generous spirit are the engines that drive the Danville Area Community Foundation (DACF). The people of our area are deeply committed to their community. They want to reach out to those in need, help young people further their educations and improve our area’s cultural, educational and civic institutions. And when they give, they want their dollars to stay at home, making their community a better place to live now and in the future. DACF is here to help these astonishingly generous donors realize their charitable goals and experience the joy of giving.

DACF has deep roots in the community. We understand our community’s changing needs and work closely with local nonprofit agencies that find inventive and effective ways to meet them. Our donors know their gifts will translate into grants that make a lasting difference. DACF is accomplishing great things. We have built momentum and empowered our community’s philanthropic spirit.
